Corvette Racing has confirmed its driver line-ups for next June’s Le Mans 24 Hours
Dateline 11.22.16: Ricky Taylor joins the American team for the 2016 edition of the French endurance classic. Taylor makes his return to Le Mans after a year’s absence alongside Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen, effectively replacing Ford-bound Ryan Briscoe.
Meanwhile, Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Taylor’s brother Jordan will once again form the sister car’s line-up at La Sarthe, having taken the GTE Pro class win in 2015.
It follows the announcement that Audi factory drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Marcel Fassler will join Corvette’s quartet of regulars for the first two rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Daytona and Sebring.
Ricky and Jordan Taylor will be unavailable to Corvette for the two US enduros, as they will instead be sharing a Corvette DP machine run by their father Wayne’s team.
