On January 13, 2013, Chevrolet stunned the automotive world when the all-new C7 Corvette literally leapt out on the stage at the North American International Auto Show, in Detroit, Michigan. This was almost 60 years to the day that Harley Earl’s dream car Corvette debuted at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. The only way it could have been better would have been to have both the coupe and convertible burst on to the stage at the same time.
