This is just too sweet not to share. For many Corvette owners, their Corvette becomes a member of their family. The family Corvette is the source of many happy memories. Some fortunate Corvettes get passed on to other family members.

Too often, barn finds are in very bad condition, especially if critters have decided to camp out in the car. Rodents will eat EVERYTHING. But this isn’t one of those stories.

The 1970 350, 4-speed, Elkhart Green Corvette Coupe was just super dirty and moldy! It just needed a good scrubbing.

Braden is the young Gen Z dude who will take you through the entire process of cleaning, detailing, and getting this classic Corvette back on the road again for the deceased owner’s sister. The before-and-after video is simply astonishing. Not all dirty old Corvettes look this good after an intense cleaning and detailing.

We “older guys” often lament how “young guys” aren’t into cars these days, especially old Corvettes. That’s not Braden! He’s a young man who has the “car gene” and loves it.

The production 1970 Corvette was given a mild refresh, with a new egg crate front grill, new side front fender vents, mild flares on the back edge of the wheelwell openings, and new rectangular exhaust tips. The new 350 solid-lifter LT1 engine was a beast, and the big-block Corvette engines were enlarged to 454 cubic inches. As far as raw performance, 1970 would stand as the high-water mark for Corvettes until the 1992 Corvette came out with the new version of the 350 LT1 engine.
